Privacy Policy — DSM Private Uploader

1. Overview & Personal Use Scope

DSM Private Uploader (Google Cloud Project ID: dsm-private-uploader) is a personal, local desktop application operated solely by its owner on a local Windows computer. The application is used for archiving and organizing private DSM course recordings across the owner's personal Google Drive, Google Sheets, and YouTube account.

2. Google Account Data Accessed

When authorized by the user via Google OAuth 2.0 Desktop flow, the application accesses only the following Google data:

• Google Drive API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive): Reads DSM course video files (.mp4 metadata, file sizes, durations, and binary streams) from the designated DSM source folder and maintains archival copies in the user's personal DSM Google Drive archive folder.
• Google Sheets API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets): Reads and updates the user's tracking spreadsheet (DSM_VIDEO_LIBRARY_CURRENT) to record upload status, video visibility, YouTube URLs, and verification status.
• YouTube Data API v3 (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl): Confirms the authorized YouTube channel identity, checks existing uploaded videos to prevent duplicates, uploads missing DSM course recordings as non-public (private staging → unlisted link-only access), and verifies processing and privacy status.

3. Local Storage of Credentials & Tokens

• All OAuth 2.0 client configuration files (client_secret.json) and authorized session tokens (access token and refresh_token stored in token.json) are stored strictly locally on the user's Windows computer (under the local project credentials/ directory and %LOCALAPPDATA%\DenisAI\youtube_private_uploader\).
• Credentials and tokens are excluded from version control via .gitignore and are never uploaded, transmitted, or exposed to any external server.
• Temporary video files downloaded during upload verification are stored in a local temporary directory and deleted once verification succeeds.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

Google user data is never sold, rented, licensed, or shared with any third parties. All data remains strictly between the local Windows desktop utility and Google's official APIs (Google Drive, Google Sheets, and YouTube). DSM Private Uploader complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How to Revoke Access & Delete Data

You can revoke DSM Private Uploader's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Security & Permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, selecting DSM Private Uploader, and clicking Remove Access. You may also delete the local token.json file on your Windows computer at any time to immediately clear stored credentials.
